]]> On January 20, a meeting was held at the Space Technology Park – Research, Development and Innovation to summarise the company’s work results in 2024 and set goals for the coming year.

The meeting was attended by the President of the Park, Prof. Marek Banaszkiewicz, Vice-President, Dr. Jerzy Tutaj, Member of the Scientific Council of the Park and Member of the Polish Parliament, Prof. Waldemar Sługocki, Director of the Department of Economy and Development of the UMWL, Prof. Sebastian Saniuk, and Bogusław Wontor, former MP and one of the initiators of the establishment of the Park in Zielona Góra.

Summary of challenges and opportunities for the future

Although in 2024 the Park faced numerous challenges, including limited share capital and insufficient own contributions to implement the planned projects, the Park Management Board looks to the future with optimism. The development of the Space Technology Park in 2025 will be based on ambitious goals that support the growth of innovation in the Lubuskie Province and strengthen the Park’s position as a leading research and development center in Poland.

PTK’s strategic goals for 2025:

  • Building competences in the space sector in the Lubuskie Province, including through projects such as the construction of a satellite.
  • Using and developing PTK laboratories in the field of innovative technologies and tests.
  • Developing commercial, research and development and test projects in cooperation with POLSA, ESA, NASA and partners from the space sector.
  • Establishing a Startup Center in the areas of highly specialized technology.
  • Strengthening partnerships in the region, creating an innovation ecosystem in the Lubuskie Province.
  • Development of the Dynamic Horizon Europe Center for the Lubuskie Province, supporting entrepreneurs and institutions in obtaining EU funds.
  • Drone Center with Unmanned Aerial Vehicles Center and drone training and testing range.
  • Intellectual Property Protection Center and Innovation Center dedicated to local government units and NGOs.
  • Accredited innovation center and business environment unit operating at national and regional level.

As part of the plans for 2025, we will continue to create the Space Technology Park ecosystem, build a positive image, develop a team of specialists, and develop effective management processes. At the same time, we want to verify sustainable sources of income, effectively manage the Park facility and strengthen business relations with key target groups.

Achieving these goals will not only allow for the development of the Space Technology Park, but also strengthen the position of the Lubuskie Voivodeship as an important center of innovation and modern technologies in Poland.

]]> On August 29, 2024, a significant meeting occurred at the Space Technology Park in Zielona Góra, involving school and educational institution directors from the southern part of the Lubusz Voivodeship. Organized by the Lubusz Education Superintendent, the meeting aimed to summarize the educational supervision for the 2023/2024 school year and discuss the organization of the upcoming 2024/2025 school year.
Directors of public and private schools, as well as kindergartens from Zielona Góra and the surrounding counties – Zielona Góra County, Krosno County, Nowa Sól County, Wschowa County, Żary County, and Żagań County – attended the meeting. Participants had the opportunity to hear from the Lubusz Education Superintendent, who presented the results of educational supervision and plans for the upcoming school year.
A key highlight of the program was the presentation of our Space Technology Park, where we showcased the modern educational opportunities we offer. We are a place where innovation meets education, providing unique tools and technologies that support the development of future generations.
In the consultative and workshop sections of the meeting, the directors were introduced to the professional development opportunities prepared by the Teacher Training Center in Zielona Góra. The workshops, which were aimed at newly appointed directors, covered topics such as managing educational processes, implementing national educational policies, and exploring digital educational spaces.
The meeting concluded with a special event – a stratospheric educational mission, in which children from Educational Complex No. 7 in Zielona Góra participated. We thank all participants for their engagement and fruitful discussions. We look forward to future meetings that will contribute to continued education development in the Lubusz Voivodeship.

]]> We are pleased to announce that the Civil Aviation Authority of Poland has accredited Space Technology Park to conduct theoretical exams for drone operators. According to decision no. LBSP-3.4130.78.2024.ULC1, we are now authorized to conduct examinations in the following categories:

  • Theoretical exam in subcategory A2,
  • Theoretical exams for declared national standard scenarios NSTS-01 to NSTS-08,
  • Theoretical exams for declared standard scenarios STS-01, STS-02.

Our Training Offer

At Space Technology Park, we strongly emphasize comprehensive preparation for drone operators tailored to a wide range of tasks. Our training programs are designed to meet the needs of both beginners and advanced users and market requirements. Through collaboration with industry experts and modern teaching methods, our courses provide theoretical knowledge and the practical skills necessary for the safe and effective operation of drones.

NSTS Training:

  1. NSTS-01: Visual Line of Sight Operations (VLOS) – This training prepares operators for safely conducting drone flights within visual line of sight.

  2. NSTS-02: Beyond Visual Line of Sight Operations (BVLOS) – Advanced training for operators who wish to perform flights beyond visual line of sight.

  3. NSTS-05: Operations in Hard-to-Reach and High-Risk Areas – Advanced training for operators conducting operations in difficult-to-access areas or under increased risk conditions.

  4. NSTS-06: Operations in Industrial and Urban Areas – Training for drone operators working in industrial and urban zones.

  5. NSTS-07: Operations in Restricted Access Areas – Training for operators conducting operations in restricted access areas.

STS Training:

  1. STS-01: Specialized Drone Operations – Training covering advanced operational techniques and risk management.

INS Instructor Course:

  1. INS: Instructor Course – An intensive course preparing participants for the role of a drone training instructor.

Additional Specialized Courses:

  1. Drone Inspection Course – Training covering techniques for inspecting various structures using drones.

  2. Drone Photo-Video Course – A course that includes techniques for drone photography and videography.

  3. Thermal Imaging Inspection Course with Drones – Training on using thermal imaging cameras mounted on drones for inspecting buildings and infrastructure.

  • Training Location: Depending on the type of training, courses are conducted at our headquarters or in designated practical locations.
