On 7 September 2026, the Provincial Marshal signed a letter of intent paving the way for the creation of a European Space Port (ESP) in the region. The collaboration aims to develop cutting-edge space technologies and build a unique research ecosystem. The new company’s headquarters are located in the Space Technology Park in Zielona Góra, and its first planned initiative is the ‘Air Launch’ project, which involves launching payloads using aerial platforms.
