An exceptionally important information session, organised by Bank Gospodarstwa Krajowego (BGK) and entitled ‘EU loans for local government units and businesses in the Lubuskie Voivodeship’, took place at the Space Technology Park in Zielona Góra.

Representatives of local authorities and the SME sector had the opportunity to learn about the details of the preferential financial instruments under the ‘European Funds for Lubuskie 2021–2027’ programme — with a total funding pot of 257 million zlotys.

Key areas of support presented during the meeting:

For local government bodies (JST): funding for the comprehensive thermal modernisation of public buildings, the development of renewable energy sources, the replacement of heating systems, and the modernisation of street lighting to energy-efficient LED systems.
For Entrepreneurs (SMEs): attractive development loans of up to 2 million PLN with a fixed interest rate of 1.5 per cent per annum and a repayment period of up to 7 years — intended for digitalisation, modernisation of machinery and the implementation of innovations.

In the second part of the event, participants took part in one-to-one consultations at expert tables with the funding partners: the Regional Development Agency S.A. in Zielona Góra, the Kalisz Business Incubator Foundation and Alior Bank S.A.

We are delighted that the Space Technology Park has once again served as a forum for substantive dialogue, bringing together innovation, business and key initiatives for the development of the entire Lubuskie Voivodeship.
