PTK I Project
The project is being implemented under the Lubuskie 2020 Regional Operational Programme, Measure 1.2: Development of entrepreneurship, Type II – Professionalisation of services provided by IOB.
Beneficiary
The beneficiary and project leader is the Lubuskie Voivodeship.
Partners: the University of Zielona Góra in Zielona Góra, the Space Research Centre of the Polish Academy of Sciences, and Hertz System LTD. Sp. z o.o.
Total cost
The total cost of the project is PLN 88,875,936.07, of which PLN 26,573,732.26 is own funding and PLN 61,413,444.44 is EU funding.
Aim of the project
The aim of the project is to improve the conditions for SMEs to conduct business – and to foster the development of innovative projects in the region.
As a result of the project to provide pro-development services to SMEs, the regional base of business support organisations (BBI) through the creation of a leading industrial and research centre for space and satellite engineering and innovative industry

PTK II Project (Phase I)
The aim of the project is to develop the activities of the Space Technology Park (Phase I), as part of which the following laboratories will be upgraded:
- A clean-room facility for the assembly, integration and testing of satellite systems and subsystems,
- Laboratory of Robotic Systems and Artificial Intelligence,
- Materials Engineering and Strength Testing Laboratory.
As part of the project, a modular office building with a floor area of 240 m² will be constructed, along with a co-working space for SMEs (start-ups) and a platform to support entrepreneurs in the decision-making process regarding the application of space technologies in products and services.

Beneficiary
The beneficiary of the project is the Space Technology Park – Research, Development and Innovation Ltd.
Aim of the project
The main objective of the project is to strengthen the sustainable growth and competitiveness of SMEs and to create jobs within SMEs, including through investment in production.
Intermediate objectives:
- modernising the infrastructure for which there is demand from SMEs, and improving the efficiency of the commercialisation of inventions developed in the Lubuskie Voivodeship,
- an increase in the capacity of the Space Technology R&D&I Park to provide high-quality support tailored to the real needs of businesses, thereby contributing to the development of Regional Smart Specialisations,
- competitive conditions for the development of SMEs: a net increase in the number of new businesses and the stable operation of innovative SMEs (start-ups),
- an increase in human capital, an increase in employment in the region, and thus a higher quality of life in the Lubuskie Voivodeship,
- networking within the region, leading to an increase in the province’s socio-economic potential,
- to enhance the capacity of Business Support Organisations (BSOs) to support the development of SMEs, with the initiative acting as a driving force for the region.
Results
As a result of the project, the comprehensive nature of the services provided by the individual laboratories operating within the IOB will be ensured; this is understood as a combination of various mutually complementary services that form a single whole, including, amongst others: research, consultancy and training services.
The services planned for implementation will enable SMEs operating in the Lubuskie Voivodeship to become more competitive and economically efficient, particularly in the areas covered by the Regional Smart Specialisations (RIS).
