The Space Technology – Research, Development and Innovation Park in Zielona Góra hosted a conference entitled ‘Trends, innovations and challenges in the IT and cybersecurity sector in the Lubuskie region’, organised by the Educational Research Institute – State Research Institute (IBE PIB), with the support of the Lubusz Regional Superintendent of Education.

The event brought together representatives from public administration, as well as the educational, scientific and industry sectors. Participants discussed current challenges in the fields of IT, digital education, cybersecurity and the development of future skills. The programme included presentations on, amongst other things, the Integrated Qualifications System, market-relevant qualifications in the IT sector, and the application of artificial intelligence in business and public administration.

Of particular significance was the closing debate, which focused on cooperation between education and business, and on adapting the skills of pupils and students to the needs of the changing labour market.

We are delighted that the Space Technology Park can serve as a venue for debate on the future of digital development in the region and the country.
