On 16 March, the LUB-NEX network was launched at the University of Zielona Góra as part of the project ‘Lubuska NAWA-EURAXESS: supporting researcher mobility and enhancing the competitiveness of science in the Lubuskie region (LUB-NEX)’.

The aim of the project is to establish a regional network of institutions supporting the mobility of researchers and the internationalisation of the academic community in the Lubuskie Voivodeship. The initiative aims to integrate existing resources, develop new services and promote the region as an attractive place to conduct research and pursue an academic career.

The project focuses on the exchange of experiences and the development of best practice, the organisation of social events for researchers and their families, language courses and soft skills training for staff at the University of Zielona Góra. Another key element is the promotion of the region and the development of international cooperation, which enhances the profile of the university and the Lubuskie Voivodeship.

Staff from the University of Zielona Góra, representatives of the region’s largest towns and local businesses are involved in the initiative.

• The Lubuskie Region Employers’ Organisation

• The town of Zielona Góra

• Marshal’s Office

During the event, letters of intent were signed, confirming cooperation within the framework of the network being established.
