The modern economy – global challenges. Polish-German conference: ‘Science – Technology – Industry: Synergy between people, science and technology in the face of global challenges’

Organised as part of the celebrations marking the 25th anniversary of the University of Zielona Góra, the conference ‘Science – Technology – Industry: The Synergy of People, Science and Technology in the Face of Global Challenges’ broke away from the usual format of conference room discussions. Representatives from the worlds of science and business in Poland and Germany visited six companies, learning about practical examples of innovation implementation in areas including automation, space technology, cyber security and sustainable development. Participants emphasised the need for closer cooperation between universities and industry, faster technology transfer and harnessing the potential of Polish-German cooperation in the development of modern solutions.
