Lubuskie Science Festival 2025
The Lubuskie Science Festival (LFN) is an event aimed at promoting science, innovation and knowledge in the Lubuskie Voivodeship.
The festival brings together representatives from academia and the research community, as well as science enthusiasts, creating a space for the exchange of experiences, ideas and inspiration. Its aim is to promote scientific achievements, particularly those related to regional development, and to foster cooperation between the scientific community, business and society.
The Lubuskie Science Festival is not just about conferences and lectures, but also includes workshops, panel discussions and interactive exhibitions that engage participants in hands-on exploration of modern scientific solutions. Thanks to its varied programme, the festival provides an opportunity to understand the role of science in everyday life and its impact on the development of societies and the economy.
The first edition of the festival, organised primarily by the Space Technology Park – Research, Development and Innovation, will take place in 2025.
LFN Events

Supernova: The Science Mission
- When: 26 April 2025 (Saturday), 4.00 pm–6.00 pm
- Where: Venus Planetarium (10 Sikorskiego Street, Zielona Góra)
- Event type: Lectures followed by a Q&A session
- Details: Mission Science’s Supernova – a brilliant start to the Lubuskie Science Festival!
This inaugural event will provide an opportunity to learn about the latest trends in science and to ask experts questions. The discussions will help participants understand the practical applications of innovative solutions in everyday life.
Intergalactic Knowledge Exchange
- When: 10 May 2025 (Saturday), 10.00–15.00
- Where: Space Technology Park, Nowy Kisielin – 1 A. Wysockiego Street
- Event type: Main, open festival event featuring talks, lectures and scientific stands
- Details: Mission Science’s ‘Supernova’ – a brilliant start to the Lubuskie Science Festival!
During the Intergalactic Knowledge Exchange, visitors will be able to explore four ‘orbits’:
- the field of social sciences,
- the field of engineering and technical sciences,
- the field of science and the natural sciences,
- the field of medical sciences.
SpaceComm Conference
- When: 15–17 October 2025
- Where: Zielona Góra (University of Zielona Góra and the Space Technology Park)
- Type of event: An academic conference, the programme of which also includes a Moot Court
The SpaceComm Conference is an international scientific event at which experts from various fields will discuss the challenges associated with a responsible and sustainable approach to space exploration.
