On 8 October 2024, the Space Technology Park – Research, Development and Innovation hosted representatives from Relpol S.A., a well-known Polish manufacturer of relays that has been operating on the market since 1958. The delegation was led by Krzysztof Pałgan, Chairman of the Management Board of Relpol. On behalf of the Space Technology Park – Research, Development and Innovation, the business discussions were led by the Vice-Chairman of the Management Board, Dr Jerzy Tutaj, and the Director of the Infrastructure Management and Laboratory Services Department, Leszek Urban.

During the meeting, opportunities for cooperation were discussed with regard to the implementation of joint projects and the use of the Park’s laboratories in the fields of mechanics, salt spray testing and soldering technology. Relpol S.A., which specialises in the manufacture of relays used, amongst other things, in industrial and power automation, power electronics, industrial and consumer electronics, and telecommunications, expressed an interest in developing innovative solutions in collaboration with the Space Technology Park.

This new collaboration opens up new prospects for both companies, both in research and development and in implementation.
