PTK – Lubuskie Construction Master
The Space Technology Park, developed by the Marshal’s Office of the Lubuskie Voivodeship, has been awarded the title of Lubuskie Construction Master in the ‘Smart Homes’ category. This prestigious award was presented during a gala ceremony on 30 October 2024, organised by the Lubuskie Chamber of Construction at the Zielona Góra Palm House. This year’s 30th edition of the Lubuskie Construction Master competition was exceptional – 21 projects were submitted across 8 categories, and the judging panel awarded 10 ‘Master’ titles.
Smart Homes
In the ‘Smart Homes’ category, the winner was the Space Technology Park, the construction of which in Zielona Góra-Nowy Kisielin was funded by the Marshal’s Office of the Lubuskie Voivodeship. The award was accepted on behalf of the province by provincial councillor Sławomir Kotylak. This prestigious accolade confirms the Park’s significance as one of the modern and innovative facilities on the region’s map.
The 30th edition of the Lubuskie ‘Mister Budowa’ competition
During the gala, the best projects in other categories were also honoured, including residential, public utility, industrial, and refurbishment and renovation projects. The competition not only showcases the quality and innovation of the construction sector in the region but also serves as a platform to highlight technological advances in the Lubuskie Province.
Education took centre stage during the event. The role of the University of Zielona Góra and Zielona Góra’s School of Civil Engineering in shaping the future workforce for the construction sector was highlighted. Awards were also presented to students for outstanding final-year projects that introduce a modern approach to architecture and civil engineering.
